Nerd Rap:
Hip hop based vocal music that attempts to express scientific, technological, or futuristic concepts using any style of lyricism as a vessel for it’s message.
Nerd rap, as with all forms of self expression, is difficult to classify and is executed with varying degrees of excellence. Many artists have dabbled in nerd rap at one time or another without specifically meaning to and, vice-versa, many self proclaimed “nerd rappers” do not fit this definition.
A PS to the guy who thinks rap isn’t music:
- Music= Sound arranged over time.
- Stop giving good nerds a bad name.

Everybody tells you to be yourself, but they don’t practice what they preach. I love/live Rap. I also love being a Nerd. Video games, sci-fi flicks, pop culture, technology; You name it, we LOVE it. And guess what?

NERDS RUN THE FUCKING WORLD.

NERD (by definition):

One whose IQ exceeds his weight.
An individual persecuted for his/her superior skills or intellect, most often by people who fear and envy them.
An ‘individual’, i.e. a person who does not conform to society’s beliefs that all people should follow trends and do what their peers do. Often highly intelligent but socially rejected because of their obesssion with a given subject, usually computers. Unfortunately, nerds seem to have problems breeding, to the detriment of mankind as a whole.

stereotypical label used to describe a person that is socially inadequate. A four letter word, but a six figure income.

Russell Brand Fights for the Common Man

I know that Russell Brand has gotten his fair share of bad press recently, especially in light of his nasty break-up with pop icon Katy Perry. However, during a recent interview on BBC current affairs program Newsnight, Brand made short work of journalist Jeremy Paxman, who attempted to call the actor out for being “trivial” in regards to his stance on the status quo.

This, by far, is one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time. Fear, compassion, hope, anger; these are just some of the feelings that this monumental game will evoke. Games are the next generation of storytelling media, and The Last Of Us is a testament to that fact. If you haven’t played this instant classic yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.
